About Me — Shubao Liu

• I am a research scientist at GE Global Research, Niskayuna, NY, working on research projects related to computer vision and image analysis.
• I received my PhD degree from Brown University in 2011 in electrical and computer engineering, specializing in computer vision.
• I have broad research interest in computer vision and machine learning, especially 3D computer vision, image segmentation, scene understanding and probabilistic graphical models. Recently I have extended my interest to natural language processing, in particular grammar learning and parsing.
